Georgia Mancio Trio, Love Supreme 2014 by Andy Sheppard

Initially inspired by the musical partnership of the great jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald and guitar virtuoso Joe Pass, Georgia has joined forces with sensational Parliamentary award-winning guitarist and bandleader, Nigel Price (James Taylor Quartet, Filthy Six, Alan Barnes).  Together with much lauded bassist, Julie Walkington (Tina May, Geoff Eales, Jim Mullen), they present a joyous and spellbinding programme of jazz standards and latin songs as heard on their acclaimed live release Come Rain or Come Shine (2013).

Past engagements include: Ronnie Scott’s, Pizza Express Jazz Club, Chichester Jazz, The Pheasantry, Swansea Jazz Clubs and Love Supreme, Marlborough, Newport and Music in the Garden Jazz Festivals.

Story-telling and improvisation as equal partners; deep groove and musicality.  Rain, shine, light, shade.  All are to be found here.
