The selection is eclectic: a samba by Jobim nestles alongside a showtune by Lionel Bart (a very touching Where is Love), whilst, taking her cue from Seu Jorge, a Brazilian-language version of Life on Mars vies with a buoyant Never Will I Marry.
It’s all delightful: the combination of rhythmic and emotional intelligence is stunning.
