Georgia Mancio is a young London-based singer with an airy, gossamer voice and a penchant for Latin rhythms and unexpected song choices (David Bowie’s ‘Life on Mars’ os not often found alongside Rodgers and Hart and Antonio Carlos Jobim). This lovely album is her second, and features her in the classy company of the likes of pianist John Pearce (whose solo on ‘Where is Love?’, the ballad from Lionel Bart’s Oliver, is exquisite) and bassist Dave Green.
