“whatever she sings Mancio… demonstrates two increasingly rare qualities: taste and restraint”

JARS (Jazz at Ronnie Scott's)

“Georgia Mancio is a vocalist of the highest quality…a shining example of what jazz vocalists should strive to reach.  She has a voice of timeless elegance that will only continue to enchant for years to come”

JazzReview.com

“Unlike many vocalists you get the feeling that Ms Mancio has studied the lyrics carefully …and when she sings them, she means them, and feels the emotion explicit in every line”

Jazz Journal

“There’s a delightful, almost diffident modesty to this debut…but the wistful phrasing has assurance and allure”

Peaceful Place

Georgia’s debut album, Peaceful Place, was released in Autumn 2003 and gained attention for its airy simplicity and charming line-ups of duos and trios with some of the UK’s finest jazz musicians.

A mixture of jazz standards; Brazilian and Italian bossa; modern jazz classics and originals, it led to an appearance on Radio 4’s prestigious Loose Ends and further airplay on: Jazz FM; Humphrey Littleton’s Best of Jazz (Radio 2), Jazz Line-up and Jazz Record Requests (Radio 3). There have also been interviews with Sky Digital, RBF (Belgium/France), Radio Citta Futura (Italy) and an half-hour special on LaGuagua (Radio Palermo, Argentina).
